Step by Step Guide for connect AirPods to Chromebook
If you have a pair of Apple’s popular wireless earbuds, here’s how to connect them to your Chromebook.
If you’re using AirPods (1st or 2nd generation), make sure that your Mac is running macOS Sierra 10.12.5 or later. If you’re using AirPods Pro, make sure that your Mac is running macOS Catalina 10.15.1 or later.
To connect your AirPods to your Chromebook:
Put both AirPods in your charging case. Open the lid and hold the case next to your Chromebook. Your Chromebook will show a notification asking if you want to connect to the “AirPods.” Tap Connect, then tap Done.
You can also use Quick Settings to connect your AirPods:
Open Quick Settings . Tap Connected devices Bluetooth. Tap the name of your AirPods.
You can also connect your AirPods to your Chromebook using the Bluetooth settings:
Open Settings . Click Bluetooth. Click the name of your AirPods.
Once you’ve connected your AirPods, they’ll stay connected until you disconnect them or turn off Bluetooth on your Chromebook. You can also use your AirPods with other nearby Bluetooth devices. If you want to use your AirPods with multiple devices, you’ll need to connect and disconnect them from each device.
