How to Turn Off the Dell Inspiron 15 [Restart, Shutdown and Sleep Mode]

If you need to turn off your Dell Inspiron 15 for any reason, follow the steps below. Note that this will also shut down any programs that are currently running on your computer.

  1. Press the “Start” button in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.
  2. Select “Shut Down” from the menu that appears.
  3. Click the “Shut down” button.

Your computer will now be turned off. If you need to turn it back on, simply press the power button.

Where is the Power Button on the Dell Inspiron?

The power button on the Dell Inspiron is located on the front of the computer near the bottom left corner. It is a small, round button that has a pictogram of a power switch on it.
